There is nothing I can say about Red Jumpsuit Apparatus here

This is a band that started off really hot, but their buzz seems to have died down in recent months.

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus is a great punk/emo/rock band and their CD "Don't You Fake It" doesn't have a bad song on it. My favorite song by them is actually their softest song and it is called "Cat and Mouse." It features a lot of piano, or it might be keyboard, and some interesting lyrics. Check it out.

I am a Lostprophet

I figured since I hadn't made a post in a while, I will write about a band I haven't heard from in a while.

Lostprophets is my second favorite band and I am glad to hear they are back in the studio working on their fourth album. They have a rock, punk, emo sound to them and all of their songs are incredibly catchy. The band will be headlining the Download festival in London, June 15th. But fortunately when I saw them in concert, I didn't have to travel that far. My favorite song by them off their latest album is called "Can't Catch Tomorrow (Good Shoes Won't Save You This Time." It is a great jam that you will enjoy.

It's Not Hip Hop, It's Electro

This band may not be in your iTunes as an album that is not a compilation unless you are a hardcore electronica freak. Daft Punk is little know and well known at the same time. Sampled by such artists as Kanye West in his latest release Stronger, these guys know how to lay down a killer beat. However, this is not a group to be overshadowed by the thin line that separates the cover from the sample.

With the release of their lastest album Alive, Daft Punk continues to transcend electronica, rock, pop, what have you. Try going to YouTube and watching their channel. It's pretty sick.

Also, for something less conventional than Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger or One More Time, try something like Human After All. Some deep tracks may start to sound a little like an episode of How It's Made on The Discovery Channel but you just have to wade through it.
